Richard Carlson’s “Secrets of Modern Entrepreneurship”

Richard Carlson is an American psychotherapist, writer, and speaker. His book, Don’t Sweat the Little Stuff… and It’s All Small Stuff, was USA Today’s top selling book for two straight years. He helps us understand how to lead from weakness and use our strengths. This is a motivating book that gives many new and existing business leaders a powerful new way of looking at themselves and their business.

The book’s title, Don’t Sweat the Little Stuff, is taken from a famous motivational quote by Norman Vincent Peale. In his book, The Power Of Positive Thinking, he says “A small amount of hard work regularly will wash away the cob webs which strangle your beautiful silk garment.” Carlson’s message is simple; when we are happy with our lives, our dreams, and our accomplishments, we don’t need to overwork ourselves just to be successful. When we are working diligently to achieve small goals with hard work, we will reap the rewards long before we reach the major goals.
